Offline classes of Class I to VIII to resume from Sept 13

ITANAGAR, SEPT 10 : After a gap of several months and almost one and half year the offline classes of Class IX to XII have resumed from Sept 1st and now the state government in a circular has ordered to resume the lower classes from I to VIII from September 13.

In a circular issue by Director of Secondary education Marken Kadu on Friday September 10 said “the Schools for Classes 1 to VIII along with all the Residential Schools (Classes I to XII), Hostels and Coaching Institutions will be re-opened from 13.09.2021 in offline mode”,

A detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has already been issued on 30 August, 2021 by the Department of Education and even the separate SOPs issued on Is1 September, 2021 by the Arunachal Pradesh Disaster Management Authority (APDMA) for ensuring the COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) to be followed by all the concerned. Director said.

All the teaching and non-teaching staff besides the students and parents are hereby requested to go through the SOP very carefully and follow the same without any diversions. All the Deputy Directors of School Education (DDSE) shall be responsible for ensuring dissemination of this circular to all the school authorities and other relevant stakeholders within their respective jurisdiction without fail. The Director said.

It would be the responsibility of the school authority and education department authority as well as the parents to guide their children when they went to school and even when they come back from school to maintain the SoP like use of facemask, frequently washing of hands, use of hands sanitizers and maintain cleanliness at home and at school to remain safe secure form the infection and remain healthy. Director added.

It is to mention that the circular has been sent to all stakeholders including all DCs, DDSE, elementary education to pass on the order of the government to all the school authorities so that all precautionary measures have to be maintained in advance before the starting of classes.
