Naharlagun, July 03: The Indian Medical Association- Arunachal Pradesh has learned from reliable sources that a first-time mother has given birth to triplets—one male and two female babies—at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS).
The triplets were delivered by Cesarean section by a skilled team of doctors: Dr. Tomar Basar, Dr. Goter Doke, and Dr. Narang Yam.
Dr. Kesang W. Thongdok, President of IMA-AP, noted that the birth of triplets through natural conception is a rare event.
He praised the medical team’s achievement in successfully performing the operation and extended his congratulations to the doctors involved. He also sent his best wishes to the new parents.
As of now, both the mother and the three babies are stable and under observation.
