NAHARLAGUN, Sept 09: Ruhi Tagung, Arunachal Pradesh State President JD(U) has been selected as a member of the North East Executive Council (NEEC) of the party.
On September 7 Janata Dal (United) constituted it’s North East Executive Council under the Chairmanship of National President Rajiv Ranjan Singh, a Lok Sabha member.
All the state presidents of the Northeastern States were present during the constitution of NEEC.
While NSN Lotha from Nagaland has been unanimously elected as Convenor of NEEC JD(U). Ruhi Tagung who got additional responsibility as a Member of NEEC, was present along with other party workers from the state.
The main objective of the council is to unite all the Party leaders of the North East State in one forum to discuss, motivate and to grow the party in the state, informed by the National President.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that the party leaders must work together to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
