Khandu announces ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to next kin of deceased, Ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for each to critically injured

ITANAGAR, Feb 14: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has expressed deep anguish and grief over the loss of precious lives in the road mishap that occurred on Sunday when a vehicle coming from Tali to Palin fell off the road near Kuwa bridge point in Kraa Dadi district.
While 4 persons died on the spot, 11 others were critically injured.

Instantly responding to the incident, Chief Minister Khandu today released ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the next kin of the deceased and Rs 2 lakh each to the critically injured from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.“A total amount of Rs 38 lakh has been deposited in the account of the Kra Dadi Deputy Commissioner with a directive to disburse the same immediately,” the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said in a statement.
Extending his moral support to the families of the four deceased, Khandu prayed for their eternal peace.

“May Lord Buddha give strength to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss and bless the injured to recovery,” Khandu said in a message this afternoon.
