Human Rights Organization Appeals to Arunachal Pradesh Govt for Compensation to Families of APPCS Fiasco Victims

Human Rights of Arunachal (HRA) has called for compensation to be provided to the families of those who lost their lives in the APPCS Fiasco issues. The organization has appealed to the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for a compensation of Rs. 50 Lakhs each for the kin of Late Tumi Gangkak, an Under Secretary at APPSC, and Late Gyamar Padang, who blew the whistle on the APPSC paper leakage case.

The HRA has acknowledged the government’s efforts to address the APPSC paper leakage issue and has recommended that the case be investigated further by the CBI. The organization has urged the government to lift the job suspension of Late Tumi Gangkak and to provide job compensation to both Late Tumi Gangkak and Late Gyamar Padang’s family members.

The untimely deaths of Late Tumi Gangkak and Late Gyamar Padang have caused great loss and suffering for their families. The HRA has requested that the State Government provide compensation on humanitarian grounds to assist the families in coping with the financial and emotional difficulties they are experiencing due to the loss of their loved ones.

The HRA has also called upon the government to take necessary actions to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future and to ensure the safety and security of whistleblowers who expose corruption and malpractices. The organization hopes that the government will take note of their appeal and provide justice to the families of Late Tumi Gangkak and Late Gyamar Padang.

The HRA has expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for their attention to this matter and hopes that their request will receive swift action and attention.
