Changlang: Assam Rifles took the initiative to promote sports and unearth young talent by organizing a thrilling badminton tournament. The event, which commenced on 3rd August 2023 and concluded on 5th August 2023, aimed to select players for the upcoming Intra District Badminton Competition in Changlang.
The tournament focused on identifying promising players, both boys and girls, falling under the age group of 14 to 16, in the singles category. The selected players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in the Inter District tournament.
A total of 35 enthusiastic players, comprising 24 boys and 11 girls, enthusiastically participated in today’s event, showcasing their dedication to the sport. The efforts of Assam Rifles in organizing such platforms for young talent received warm appreciation from spectators and participants alike.
