ITANAGAR, MARCH 31: One person reportedly injured critically in a road accident near Punjabi Dhaba in D Sector area of city. The accident in which one motorcycle collided with APST Bus coming from Railway station. The Itanagar police source said.
The Itanagar SDPO Kengo Dirchi inform that the information of road accident was reported to Itanagar police at around 8 AM that ‘ one APST bearing registration No- ARX 0390 which was coming from Railway station Borum and going toward Ganga and on the way near Punjabi Dhaba one Avenger motorcycle bearing registration No- AR 02 2554 ridden by a youth meet with an accident and collided with the bus resulting the rider seriously injured’. The rider was immediately evacuated to RK Mission Hospital where the doctors referred to TRIHMS, Naharlagun for further treatment. The SDPO said.
The motorcycle rider was identified as Gokia Dochu. He was later referred to Dibrugarh for further treatment. He said.
Two cases has been registered at Itanagar police station and further investigation has been launched.
The bus and motorcycle has been removed from the scene and seized. The driver of the bus has been detained. The SDPO added
