In an effort to promote unity, patriotism, and overall well-being, Assam Rifles organized a special event under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – Campaign with the theme of “Unity.” The event featured a screening of a movie centered around patriotism and a lecture on yoga and meditation. Held on July 18, 2023, the initiative aimed to instill a sense of national pride while encouraging a healthy physical and mental lifestyle.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, with a total of 45 civilians, including 14 children, attending the screening and lecture. The venue, Ranglum Village, came alive with the spirit of patriotism and wellness as villagers eagerly participated in the activities.
The Assam Rifles team kick-started the event by conducting a captivating yoga demonstration, showcasing various postures and breathing techniques. The villagers of Ranglum wholeheartedly joined in the yoga session, embracing the physical and mental benefits of this ancient practice.
Following the invigorating yoga session, the attendees, particularly the children, gathered at the COB (Company Operating Base) for the screening of a patriotic movie. The film, focused on the theme of patriotism, aimed to inspire a deeper sense of love and respect for the nation among the young audience.
The event received overwhelming praise from the villagers, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Assam Rifles for organizing such a meaningful initiative. The villagers acknowledged the positive impact the event had on their lives, fostering unity and encouraging the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.
