Arunachal BJP celebrate 60th statehood of Nagaland to strengthen ek bharat shrets bharat campaign.

Itanagar, Dec 1: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh has celebrated the 60th Statehood Day of Nagaland under the aegis of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat on 1st December 2022 at  Itanagar. Earlier the party has celebrates the statehood of Orissa and planned to celebrate the of Andaman & Nicobar Island day in state.

The people of Nagaland who are residing in Itanagar Capital Region around 45 persons including Rano Top Chairman Naga Society Arunachal, Rev. Ayang Sor Principal NLBC and others attended the program and felicitated with memento on the occasion. A colorful Cultural troop from various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland performed during the day long program.

Arunachal East Member of Parliament Tapir Gao attended the program as Chief Guest and motivated the gathering to work on a pan India basis to strengthen the relationship with other states and country so that we can exchange our culture and tradition and maintain good relationship with each other.

Gao said Nagaland is the state of revolutionaries who fought for the statehood day for a long time and after that revolution went with the evolution of Nagaland. He said that Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh are lucky enough that in one slogan we want statehood day and got statehood day. But Nagaland did very hard to get the statehood day.

He said that religion is by choice but preservation of our own identity is more important and he requested all to preserve their own culture. While congratulating the people of Nagaland on the occasion of the 60th statehood day, he said that on the blessing of PM Modi  and Chief Minister Pema Khandu today we are able to celebrate statehood day of Nagaland at Itanagar.

He said that  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are working very hard to keep peace in the north east. 

Tapir Gao hopes that Assam and Nagaland and the entire North East will prevail peacefully under the leadership of PM Modi and prosper. 

State BJP President and MLA Biyuram Wahge said that Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat is mission mode program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President J.P Nadda. He said that such programs are being organized all over the country and assured to support such programs in future too.

He appreciates the organizing committee and thanks the people of Nagaland who are residing in Capital Complex for participating in the program in spite of short notice. He said that this program aims to promote mutual understanding and increase interaction between the people of different states through celebration of statehood day to maintain and strengthen the fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people of our Country. He said that after the formation BJP Led Govt. in the center and State under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu is doing all round development in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in all fronts.

On the auspicious occasion of Nagaland’s Statehood Day, greetings to the people of Nagaland and said that the people of Nagaland are making rich contributions to India’s growth and pray for Nagaland’s progress in the years to come.”

Vice-President cum Convener Nani Lajie of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat while speaking on the topic ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ highlighted about the aim and objectives of the program. 

Lajie while congratulating the people of Nagaland on the occasion of 60th Statehood day. He said that the term unity in diversity relates to the togetherness or integrity shown by people despite the presence of infinite diversity. Unity in diversity in India is living proof that despite different religions, cultures, and languages people of India live together with love and peace. He said that Diversity can be in the form of religion, color, caste, creed, cultural practices, etc. It is used as a symbol of harmony and unity among people belonging to different religions or cultural backgrounds.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is sharing global responsibilities and emerging as a new hope for the world. The foreign visits made by Narendra Modi have strengthened the global standing of India and have acted as a catalyst amongst the Indian Diaspora. There is a sense of reignited pride amongst the Indian community and they feel further attached to the chord of “Indianness” that binds us all.

He added that even today Hindus and Muslims live together and respect each other’s culture and rituals. The whole country celebrates holidays on Eid, Diwali and other major different festivals. Hindus and Muslims exchange gifts and sweets during these festivals. This shows unity in diversity in India. There is an old adage that “United we stand, Divided we Fall”. So, as a country, we should try to remain united so that we become less vulnerable to the attack of others.

Rev. Dr. Ayang Sor, Principal NLBC speaking on the occasion appreciating Modi Govt. for such initiative and thanks Arunachal Pradesh  BJP party to celebrate statehood day Nagaland at Itanagar . He also highlights the Naga tribe of Nagaland and their settlement 1000 years back in the state. Dr. Ayang said that Head hunting was a practice which was organised out of a belief that the soul-matter, on which all life depended, was stored in the head of human beings. He said that headhunting practices was stop and changes came with British rule and the inevitable Christian missionaries. He appreciated Modi Govt. and thanks Arunachal Pradesh  BJP party to celebrate statehood day Nagaland at Itanagar .

Kaden Zeliang highlights Nagaland and its significance. he said that Nagaland is inhabited by a vibrant group of people and divided into tribes with their own unique language, culture, costumes, practices, dress, dance etc. it was formally inaugurated the 16th state of the India Union on 1st December 1963 and now Nagaland is completing 60 years of statehood. he highlights on standard of measuring progress, education and literacy, employment and unemployment, village community, urbanization of Nagaland etc.

Earlier  Vice-President Junty Singpho State President Kishan Morcha Dunggoli Libang also addressed the gathering.
