NEW DELHI, The Union Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur is expected to visit the state on October 29 to take stock of infrastructure development and promotion of games and sports in state, informed Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) Chairman Byabag Taj.
Taj who called on the Union minister at his office at Shastri bhawan in New Delhi on Thursday inform that the meeting was very fruitful and meaningful. We have lots of discussion for around one and half hour. He discussed on various steps to be needed to promote the games and sport in state inspite of having lots of potential among the youths of state. Taj said.
“We have marathon of discussion for promotion of Sports activities in the state of Arunachal. During the discussion minister was very positive and he assured us to provide all’ kinds of assistance for the growth and prosperity of various sports activities of the state. He also assured to interact with Sports authority of Arunachal (SAA) during his official tour to Arunachal Pradesh on 29th Oct, 2021” Taj added.
