BHALUKPONG, The 20 days awareness campaign and celebration of “ seva aur samarpan” which started on Sept 17 concluded at Bhalukpong the bordering town of West Kameng district with day long programme. The celebration also pledge to work for society and welfare of people in all sphere of life.
The day long programme which include awareness campaign by the karyakartas of the BJP party, the party workers carried out cleanliness drive of markets, urban area, both side of the street of the township, cleaning of drainage and other places followed by awareness through PA system in the rural and other far flung area of the township.
The awareness was also carried out through distribution of T shirts, pamphlets, and road show to keep the town clean and green. Plantation drive was part of the programme which was attended by hundreds of party workers, supporters and well-wishers. The team of party leaders planted hundreds of saplings in various parts of towns including school, market area and roadside.
Addressing the concluding function as chief guest, state BJP President and Pakkekessang MLA BIyuram Wahge said that the celebration was a part of ‘sewa’ ie. service and that for the people was started on Sept 17 has been culminated today at Bhalukpong and continued for twenty days in various parts of state by the karyakartas, well wishers and supporters as a part of “ seva aur samarpan” in view of the 71st year of India independence and twenty years of continuous service by the Prime Minister of India to the masses.
BJP is one of the largest party of the world and it would be our endeavor that the BJP party cadres and karyakartas always look forward to serve the general public and humanity and will continue to serve the general public in any point of time. Politic is different but service to humanity is must and the main matras of the party is to serve the motherland and its people. Wahge said.
The celebration was held in almost all the parts of state which were attended by senior party leaders who motivated all the workers, supporters and well-wishers for social welfare activities and has also attended various awareness programme in various parts of state for mass awareness on social welfare activities for wellbeing of all community, tribes with a clean and green environment, maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene, keep clean of the water source and need to use clean and pure water so that the source of water supply. He said.
Wahge further appeal all section of society to join hands with in the noble mission of the party and vision of the central and state government for the better service to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, North east region and country as a whole and also to make our state, region and country a vibrant, strong and developed one.
Thrizino-Buragoan local MLA and Environment & Forest Minister advisor Kumsi Sidisow in his address said that social activities are necessary and it should be carried out on regular basis, such social welfare activities add to motivation to others and help in upgrading the life. Today the social service and cleanliness drive being conducted is an eye openers for the people. Such works was beign carried in all parts of the assembly constituency in last twenty days and was a successful and participated by thousand of people.
Our party workers has been engaged themselves in creating awareness and cleanliness and plantation drive across the assembly constituency and also taken part in other social welfare activities in last twenty days. We are always hopeful that the general masses under the able leadership of Prime Minster Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu carry the vision of making pride to our state and country to a new height.
Such social service will naturally motivate hundreds of people in the district and from today onwards the general public have assure that they will try best to keep the area clean and hygiene to remain fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind and work freely for better state. Sidisow added.

APBRDA Chairman Tungri Efa, state minority morcha president Pema Nawang, West Kameng district BJP President Yeshi Yamchodu, Thrizino BJP Mandal President Lama Sidisaw, West Kameng distruict Incharge Amit Lamnio, ZPM Lekhi Regisow address the function.
Former Minister Tatar KIpa, State BJP senior leader Nalong Mize, Nani Lajie, Tadar Niglar, Tagin Siga, Ashok Sangchoju among other hundreds of party workers attended the programme.
