Priest body meeting is held, appeals to the state govt for funds for smooth functioning and office construction

ITANAGAR, The All Arunachal Pradesh Abotani abo taru nibu nijik boos (priest) welfare association (AAPAANWA) today held its executive meeting and discussed various issues related to the organization and other issues of the various districts. Ongoing issues of religious based organization, indigenous based organization were also discussed and suggestions were given.

AAPAANWA, President Hari Taro in his address said that time has come and the need of the hour to work for the protection and preservation of the indigenous practice and indigenous  movement in the state. Every executive member of various districts suggested that we have to unite to fight against evil forces who try to create disunity among the priest community. He said. The priest community of the state has always been practicing the indigenous rituals for the wellbeing of the human being and working for the suffering of mankind. We have no other intention but to serve humanity. Taro said.

We are also in the line of protection of indigenous tradition and culture which has been practiced by the indigenous people of state since time immoral and shall continue to work for its preservation and protection. He said.

The priest institution needs to be strengthened and needs support from the government like other organizations has been given support and appeal the state government to place funds separately for the priest organization and fund for construction of office of the organization which has been serving the people of state since decades without an office. Taro added.

Taro further said that the district administration needs to verify the original priest who are associated with the prelist organization for disbursement of honorarium and also issue identity cards so that the original priest can carry forward the rituals without any hindrances from any concern.
