Pan-Arunachal Joint Steering Committee-APPSC demanded proper investigation and arrest of all allege accused

ITANAGAR, Dec 19 : Aggrieved aspirants, under the aegis of the Pan-Arunachal Joint Steering Committee-APPSC (PAJSC-APPSC) has demand immediate arrest of the then Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Secretary and other board members.

Addressing the newsperson at Arunachal press club (APC) on Monday, an aggrieved candidate Tadak Nalo said, they all have witnessed the paper leakage fiasco how the commission has made mistakes due to which thousands of candidates and aspirants had to bear the consequences and are under tremendous pereasure.

The entire paper leakage case has happened during the chairmanship of former chairman Nipo Nabam and his associated officers and commission members, Nalo questioned to the state government, why those accused involved in the fiasco were not terminated till date and why state government did not initiate seizure of movable and immovable properties of accused arrested so far ?

Resignation and suspending them from their respective post would not serve any purpose until they are not terminated and removed for free and fair investigation, he added.

Responding to the chief minister’s advice towards aspirant candidates to focus on the preparation of examination, PAJSC on APPSC fiasco said, they would not hesitate to sit in the examination  but first Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) should be endorsed for fair conduction of examination.

The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of APPSC should be prepared involving academician from University & college, civil service officer including two aspirant,  PAJSC-APPSC said, if at all state government decided go ahead with any examination without fulfilling the demands, then each aggrieved candidates of any examination till date affected due to any malpractices by commission should be compensated for any examination to be conducted in future.

The state government should implement Whistle Blower Act in the state so that person like Gyamar Padang and con come forward, the team also demanded to provide rewards, He demands.

The forum also demand immediate recall of three state government officials posted at APPSC and to investigate their background from the beginning.

The committee said that, if the government does not meet its demands then every aspirant, parents, civil societies and responsible citizens with no other option would resort to rigorous democratic movement for assertion of their rights.
