Pake Paga festival to be held in Seijosa.

The Pake Paga festival has been celebrated with great fanfare every year in the month of January on the bank of the Pake river located in Seijosa under Pake Kesang district of Arunachal Pradesh. According to information, due to the COVID pandemic in the last two years, along with other festivals, Pake Paga festival was also celebrated in a small way amid COVID protocol. Due to the good environment this year, preparations are on to celebrate the Pake Paga festival with various colorful programs for three days on January next year. In this context, a decision was taken to celebrate the said festival on 18, 19 and 20 January in a general meeting held under the chairmanship of T R Tapo, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sejusa Circle, at Auditorium Hall, Seijosa on Saturday. In the regard, a celebration committee was formed with Taek Pado, the deputy commissioner of Pakke Kesang district as president, TR Tapo as vice president, Anil Chiri as secretary along with other executive members and other sub-committees.
It is to be mentioned here that Seijosa shares boundary with Assam near Itakhola . A large number of picnic parties and other visitors throng Seijosa during the month of December and January every year.
