Niharika Rai apologies before leaving the state

Itanagar, A Farewell party was arranged by the Department of Education at Hotel Waii International, Itanagar on 7th January last to bid farewell to outgoing Commissioner (Education), Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh Niharika Rai. 

The Minister (Education) Taba Tedir, the Director Mission Shiksha Sachin Rana, the Director Higher Technical Education-cum-SPD RUSA Alik Jongkui, the Director Secondary Education Marken Kadu, the Director Elementary Education  Otem Tayeng, the Deputy State Project Director Samagra Shiksha/ISSE Neelam Tan, the Deputy Director SCERT  D.Y. Ringu, the Nodal Officer Engineering wing Er. Gamar Karo, were few present on the occasion. 

The Minister  while giving his best wishes to the outgoing Commissioner for her new assignment appreciated her untiring efforts to improve the quality of education during her tenure as the Commissioner and hoped that  she will work with the same spirit in future too.

Many Officers and Officials also spoke on the occasion emphasizing that the entire Department will miss the sincerity and dedication with which she used to work for the department.

The outgoing Commissioner advised the Department to focus on the New Education Policy 2020(NEP) to bring new heights in the education system in the state. She regretted that she could not complete the policy and programmes which were to be undertaken in the Department during her short assignment as she was assigned with more workload with other departments too. She however said  she will be available for any guidance if required in future.

She also offered her apologies if she had ever hurt somebody or any individual while discharging her duty as Commissioner Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.
