ITANAGAR, JAN 21 : The 1 AP Bn NCC Naharlagun successfully organized the inaugural “Permanent Instructor’s Refresher Course” at DNGC Itanagar, setting a milestone as the first of its kind in the North Eastern Region of NCC Directorate. The course took place from January 17 to January 20, 2023.
A total of 25 dedicated Army personnel, strategically posted to various NCC units of NCC Group HQ Tezpur, participated in the program. The course, designed based on the “train the trainer” concept, aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of NCC instructors.
The curriculum covered a spectrum of military subjects and NCC policies, equipping the participants with the latest updates and best practices. Brigadier SS Gill, the esteemed Group Commander of NCC Group HQ Tezpur, graced the occasion, addressing the participants and providing necessary guidance.
Brig SS Gill highlighted the significance of the course, emphasizing its importance for NCC activities in the states of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. The training not only enriched the instructors but also reinforced the commitment to fostering excellence within the NCC community.
This pioneering initiative underscores the commitment of NCC Group HQ, Tezpur towards advancing the capabilities of NCC personnel in the region.
