MLA Tanpho and Minister Ngandam attended the 8th foundation day of GKSU at Kansas village in Longding district

KHASA, DEC 28 : Longding-Pumao MLA Tanpho Wangnaw attending the 8th foundation day of Ginlong Khasa students union (GKSU) at Khasa village in Pangchao circle of Longding district on Wednesday alongwith host of public leaders and HoDs of the districts has motivated students community to concentrate in study.

MLA Tanpho being the chief guest said that the education is the key of future career and all development and once the education has reached to door step it is eminent to avail the facility without any hindrances. Though due to Covid 19 pandemic the pass percentage of CBSE has gone down but again the new education policy (NEP) may help the students to achieve the milestone.

There was a time when we see few educational institution but now a days several educational institution has come up and hope that the education scenario improve in many fold. He said.
Though there is no college in district but hope a college approved by government established soon and start functioning. He added.

Whatever the matter of government and party and public importance we will ensure that we may take up at the highest level and able to resolve it with full support of public and administration. He further said.

Guest of honour,Longding ZPC Lopong Wangham exhorted to maintain descipline and concentrate toward their duty and responsibility and at any time alway see and ensure that the students community are not distract from.their own path and become a good human being and serve the society. He also requested both the MLA Tanpow and Minister Ngandam for connecting of road Gibo-K Noknu which may help the people of the area. He added.


Local MLA, 60-Pongchau-Wakka ST Assembly constituency and minister RWD & Science and Technology Shri Honchun Ngandam exhorted the Khasa villagers and the constituency people to keep the village clean and green and become one of the best villages in cleanliness to make ourselves pride.

Whatever the requirement of the village Khasa has been fulfilled like of power supply, water supply, road, medical and  School  has been constructed and established and functioning smoothly.. A smart community hall has been proposed and hope after that such temporary pandal construction all the time for organising programme may be avoided. He said.

I never  play negative politics, the people have elected me as MLA and I become Minister with the blessing of HCM. I continue working for the welfare of people and development of the area so it is better if people of my village do play positive role and assured that in any case the service to people will continue. Said  Minister Ngandam.

He ask the students community to stay away from the clutch of drug and take a resolution for cleanliness, social activities and and join hands with PRI leaders, administration and government to make the area to work out to make the drug free village, clean  village and developed village.He said.

The Minister who is the 1st graduate from the village congratulated all those who excel in their respective fields and felicitated them and wish them to give better service to the village people and development. He said.

He assured to take up the memorandum submitted by the GKSU after both MLA Longding and myself will propose in future. He further said adding that there are hundreds of centrally and state sponsored scheme which local people need to avail and get the benefit.

GKSU President Chapha Ngopadam brief the activities undertaken by the students union in last 8 years. He thanks each and everyone who has been supporting for the cause of welfare of students community. He also assured to take up the drug menace case.
