ITANAGAR, DEC 29 : The education and cultural affairs minister Taba Tedir on Wednesday while attending the two days 12th general conference of Arunachal teachers association (ATA) Lower Subansiri district has exhorted to the teaching community to more responsible toward their duty and be part of development of state and country.
Speaking on the occasion as Chief Guest Minister Taba Tedir brief about various developmental schemes of state government under the leadership of Chief Minister . Pema Khandu and asked teachers to impart quality education to school children.
Guest of Honour Yazali PWD Division Executive Engineer Nabam Tado spoke about the potentiality of teachers in moulding the future career of children and asked the teacher gathered to justify the profession as a ‘nation builder.’
Arunachal Teachers’ Association (CEC) President Kipa Kechak was Special Invitee of the occasion who remind the teacher-delegates from various schools, block of the Lower Subansiri district about teacher’s role in the society and told the teachers to rededicate themselves to improve the quality education in the state and assured the gathering that ATA (CEC) will always remain as mouth-piece of teaching community of state for their grievances.
The DDSE- cum-Patron of the Conference Organizing Committee Tabia Chobin advised the teachers to be punctual and sincere at school and sought cooperation from the delegates for the new ATA District unit.
Around 250 teacher delegates from various schools of Lower Subansiri district attended at conference.
A new executive members of Arunachal Teachers ‘Association Lower Subansiri District Unit were elected namely-. Kago Gyayu,as President, Toko Vijay as, Vice-President, Khoda Bagang,as general Secretary and Kuru Richo as assistant General Secretary and others.
