MHA transfers 3 IAS, 3 IPS officers from Arunachal; 1 IAS, 3 IPS officers from Delhi appointed in State

NAHARLAGUN, Jan 29: Ahead of the elections 2024 in Arunachal Pradesh, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfer of 3 IAS officers and 3 IPS officers from Arunachal Pradesh to Puducherry, Delhi and Goa.

The ministry has also transferred 1 IAS and 3 IPS officers from Delhi and posted in Arunachal Pradesh.

The MHA has ordered the transfer of IAS officer Dr. Sharat Chauhan from Arunachal Pradesh and appointed him as the new Chief Secretary of Puducherry.

Dr. Sharat Chauhan, an IAS officer of 1994 batch AGMUT cadre, is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Finance, Planning & Investment, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.

A.R. Talwade, an IAS officer of 2009 batch AGMUT cadre, has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Puducherry.

Mitali Namchoom, IAS officer of 2011 batch AGMUT cadre, has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.

Asif Md. Ali, IPS officer of 2009 batch AGMUT cadre transferred from the State to Delhi.  

Rohit Rajbir Singh, IPS (AGMUT 2015 batch), who is currently serving as Itanagar SP,  has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Goa.  

Rahul Gupta, IPS (AGMUT 2017 batch), who is currently serving as Tirap SP, has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Goa.

Meanwhile, the MHA has appointed Dr. Sonal Swaroop, an IAS officer of 2012 batch AGMUT cadre, has been transferred from Delhi and posted in Arunachal Pradesh.

The MHA has also transferred 3 IPS officers, who are currently serving in Delhi, to Arunachal Pradesh.

Vivek Kishore, IPS (AGMUT 1999 batch), Chinmoy Biswal, IPS (AGMUT 2008 batch) andIngit Pratap Singh, IPS (AGMUT 2011 batch) has been transferred from Delhi and posted in Arunachal Pradesh.
