Medical fraternity of IMA-AP, APDA & IDA organised free health camp. 230 patient treated and given away with free medicines

ITANAGAR, JUNE 25 : The medical fraternity of Indian medical association, Arunachal Pradesh chapter, Arunachal Pradesh doctors association (APDA) and members of Indian dental association (IDA) on Sunday organised free health camp, health checkup and distribution of free medicine to the needy people.

The free health camp was organised at Heema Hospital in city in the runoff of doctor’s day celebration to be celebrated on July 1st in grand way by the members of medial fraternity. Several porgramme has been organised recently which include games and sporting competition, literary competition and others activities.

Heema Hospital Medical superintendent, Dr. Kesang Wangdi Thongdok inform that it is  a happy occasion that the most of the senior medical faculty and specialist from various hospital of capital complex has attended the health check up programme. The main motto of the free health camp is to provide health care facility to the sanitizer workers who are tirelessly and dedicatedly and sincerely working for cleaning the garbage’s of  the city. It was necessary that the sanitary works need to be given priority as they are the most deserving section of society who are need of medical attention and health care facilities and awareness and advice to take care of the health. He thanks the Itanagar municipal corporation (IMC) Mayor Tame Phasang for attending and motivating the workers community as well as the medical fraternity. 

He also appreciated the presence of several  IMC Corporater and officer and official of IMC including the IMC Commissioner Likah Tejji and other who had physically present during the health check up camp and also motivating the workers community to get awareness as how to keep a good health and maintain fitness. 

A total of 230.patient were treated on the occasion. Patients in different specialties- medicine, ENT, Eye, cardiology, surgery, urology, gynae ,ortho, pediatrics, Dermatology were treated.

Free master check up including complete blood count, liver n kidney function tests, blood sugar, BP , pulse oxymetry etc for all patients.

79 dental patients. 7 tooth extractions done, 15 GIC fillings done.

85 oral health kits distributed. Said Heema Hospital MS Dr. Kesang W Thongdok.
