Massive turnout as Rahul Gandhi leads ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh witnessed a gathering of Congress supporters as Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Nabam Tuki, arrived at the Gumto check gate in Papum Pare district during the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.’

The flag handover ceremony, led by APCC President Nabam Tuki and Assam Pradesh Congress Committee President Bhupen Borah, took place in the presence of party workers.

Addressing the crowd, Rahul Gandhi criticized the BJP, accusing them of working only for the wealthy and promoting division based on religion, caste, and creed. He emphasized Congress’s commitment to unifying the underprivileged.

Gandhi declared that the time had come for the people to assert themselves against the BJP government, expressing his mission to provide justice to the deprived.

Rahul Gandhi continued his journey, traveling by bus from Gumto to Naharlagun, where he interacted with the public.

His foot march from Nyokum Lapang to Malo Tarin Government Higher Secondary School ground in Itanagar culminated with a public address. Despite canceling a scheduled press briefing at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Gandhi proceeded to Chimpu for the night, emphasizing his commitment to champion the cause of the voiceless and announcing a second phase of the yatra in the East & West states of the country.
