Libang appealed to citizens for 100% vaccination

ITANAGAR, JULY 29 ; The health & Family welfare Minister Alo Libang on Thursday has appealed to all sections of society to cooperate and support the team of health departments in various districts for conducting 100 5 vaccination for Covid 19 vaccine.

Libang said that “the department officers and officials are trying their best effort in all the districts to enhance the vaccination drive, targets have been given to on an everyday basis and weekly basis of the vaccination drive.

Awareness drive has also been enhanced in all the areas including the rural and far flung area of state about the need for vaccination. We are planning to achieve 100 % vaccination in the state if all sections of society support and cooperate in the drive and fight against the covid 19 pandemic. LIbang said.

The healthcare workers engaged in vaccination drive are facing several issues, such as inclement weather and poor road connectivity and non cooperativeness of few persons in few pockets but hope all these issues may be resolved with the awareness. He said.

We have inoculated 63 percent of the eligible beneficiaries as per the census estimate and hope that the vaccination percentage goes much higher and covers large areas of state. There would be no scarcity of vaccines however as of now we have sufficient stock. He said.

Libang thanks the ICICI Band and ICICI foundation for providing 30 nos of oxygen concentrators. The 30 nos of oxygen concentrators will be sent to various PHC/CHS as per requirement.

The ICICI Itanagar branch manager Surujit Dey inform that our bank has also join in the fight against the Covid 19 and the ICICI bank and ICICI foundation has donated 30 nos of oxygen concentrators for Arunachal Pradesh and today we donated the health department and we are happy that the items are utilized for the better service of the covid patients of state.

Under the CSR scheme the bank has been extending support in all the north eastern states of the country with several other initiatives and items to the health department in fight against the covid 19. Surujit added.

Director Health Dr. M Lego and other senior officers of the health department among others were present on the occasion.
