Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso inaugurates ‘Yama Sunday market’ at Nirjuli

NIRJULI, May 27: Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso today inaugurated the ‘Yama Sunday market’ at D Sector of Nirjuli.

While speaking on the occasion, MLA Kaso said, “Everyone running for money will come and go but the work carried out for the welfare of people and serving humanity will always be remembered.”

While lauding Teli Yama for establishing the Sunday market, which has sufficient space for parking and accommodating hundreds of hawkers and shopkeepers and vendors, Kaso said the market will be able to cater to the needs of the people of the Nirjuli township and the adjoining areas.

“Money and power will come and go but what you do on the earth during your lifetime is the testimony and proof of good works you have done. We should always try not to hurt anyone but try to extend help. If you don’t want to help, you have no right to hurt and disrespect others.  As a gram panchayat member, Anchal Samity member, ZPM and MLA, I have always tried to help others to whatever extent it is possible,” he said.

He urged upon all stakeholders to join hands to make Itanagar a beautiful place, a peaceful capital complex to live in.

Referring to the request of the local IMC Corporator and ZPM, Kaso assured of taking up the issue of widening of the road leading to the Yama Sunday market from NH-415 measuring around 200 mtrs.

Naharlagun ZPM Tok Tama, who was the Guest of Honour, lauded the owner for establishment of the Sunday market which would cater to the needs of the local consumers. He asked the owner to maintain customer-friendly behavior so that the customers continue to visit the market.

ZPM Tama also requested the owner to maintain the market so that the customers love to visit the area and feel like a special market compared to dozens of markets right from Monday to Sunday located in various parts of Capital Complex.

IMC Corporator Tarh Naching attended the event as the Special Guest and assured to provide sanitation facilities and asked the market committee members to utilize the service of IMC for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

Among others local leader Teli Rajnish, Teli Ajay and GPC Yab Anu Neelam were also present.
