IMFL retails meet held, soon to move to IMC, T&C and others for trading license and other grievances, requested its member not to sell wines to minors

ITANAGAR, AUGUST 21 : The Indian Made foreign liquor (IMFL) retailers of capital complex and Papum Pare district meet held here in city and discussed various issue and resolved to move to IMC, Trade & Commerce & Food safety department for the grievances being faced by the retailer.

All Capital complex & Papum Pare wine shop welfare association (ACC&PWSWA), President Francis Hegio inform the media that it is the 1st ever general body meeting held by the IMFL wine shop (retailers) to discuss various issue confronting the retail  since long. Selling and marketing of any product should not be only business of business community but to educate the shopkeepers and consumers should also be an aspect of benefit and loss toward health, hygiene and life. He said.

Today meeting was very good as we witness representation from various parts o capital complex and Papum pare district which include from Hollongi, Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli, Banderdewa, Doimukh ete and almost everyone was given opportunity to speak and put forward the grievances being faced by the Retail sellers and other circumstance sand issued of the area and administration. There are more than four hundreds retails and it was necessary to discuses issue related to the shopkeepers, staffs and their family members as business also affect the family.  He said.

Some major issue which include selling of liquors to Pan gomuti which has been banned by the capital administration is still continue and this is not only affecting the business of genuine Retailer business but it create law and order problem as the pan gomuti remain open in late night and also create problems among the loca residents in the colony/sector of city and towns. He said. 

There are more than dozens of dray day in compare to others state and our organization has been pursuing the state government to reduce the dry day in state like of Assam, New Delhi and others, better coordination with Whole sale & Bond and administration is needed so that all the necessary direction from the department and administration is executed on ground in better way for proper business and guidelines of the retail business.

It has been observed that some of the Retailers has been asked to obtain Trade license from IMC, Trade & Commerce and Food safety is a matter of great concern and has created confusion among the business community, we are ready to obtain any trade license but it should be clear that we are not selling any lose items and no nay item are associated with food products but every item and bottles are sealed and packed by the company where food safety and other certificate were obtained and pasted by the respective department of that state and department, we are ready to apply for any trade license but we are in dark and the authority should not created confusion and harsh business community in the name of trade license rather they should call the organisation doling with the any business who well guide the shopkeeper. He added.

Today we also discuses a major issue which has been confronting in the society that no retailers should sell liquors to minor and a major decision has been taken today that every Retailers should install CCTV in its premises and the association will monitors the issue and if anyone found in the footage necessary warning and action and even legal action may initiated as the matter is very serious and it has also been taken seriously by the adminitrat8on . Hegio further said.

The ACC&PWSWA also thanks the capital deputy commissioner Talo Potom for extending closing time of Retail seller in capital complex 

Senior members of Bonders association Byabang Mosi, Mallo Ringso and other executive members also take part in discussion and shared their views and advice the business community to abide by rules and regulation of administration and association.
