The 3rd general Conference-Cum-Election/selection of new Executive Body of Pakke Kessang Distt. Employees’ Forum (PKDEF) was held at Multipurpose Hall, Golden Jubilee Ground, Pakke Kessang w.e.f-19th 20th Aug. 2022.
Attending the inaugural Session of the Conference as Chief Guest, Tayek Pado, Deputy Commissioner, Pakke Kessang Distt.(A.P), Lemmi, exhorted the participating employees that being an employee, one need to put their utmost dedication, sincerity & punctuality towards their duties & responsibilities by improving the overall work culture. As an enlightened section of the Society, they also should be involved in correcting the mindset of our people towards the women folk & their rights etc. as being practiced in some of the tribal societies. Habung Hailyang, Supt. of Police, Pakke Kessang Distt.(A.P), Lemmi, attending the Conference as the Guest of Honour had also urged the participating employees to be very sincere & responsive towards one’s duties & responsibilities and educate a lot about the roles & responsibilities as an employees.
The PKDEF was established in the year 2014 with the nomenclatures -12th Pakke Kessang Employees’ Form, and with the creation of separate Distt., the nomenclature of the Forum had been changed to Pakke Kessang Distt. Employees Forum.
2 Mins. Commemoration to the departed souls of the ex. employees of the Distt., felicitation to those successfully attained superannuation of service journey & officers/officials those appointed & promoted to various posts, sharing of views amongst the participating delegate and Review of Forum’s Bye-Laws-adoption of some new resolutions etc. were some of the main activities during the conference.
Er. Tangam Techi and Chatung Gumro have been elected as the new Chairman and New General Secretary of the PKDEF respectively for the next 3Yrs.tenure-22-25.
