MENCHUKA, Feb 04: The Home, Inter-state Border Affairs, RD & Panchayati Raj Minister Bamang Felix on Saturday laid the foundation for construction of the SP bungalow and the housing infrastructure at Tato and a new police station at Monigong under Shi-Yomi district.
Felix was accompanied by local MLA and Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker PD Sona, Under Secretary, Home, Likha Sampu, Shi-Yomi Deputy Commissioner L. Bagra, Superintendent of Police Irak Bagra, Menchuka ADC and Monigong ADC, public, social leaders and general public.
The programme was held at Menchuka police station and after the foundation laying ceremony the dignitaries inspected the Menchuka police station and interacted with the police officers of the district.The Home Minister requested the officers to work with a commitment to serve the people for maintaining peace, tranquility and always try to gather people’s participation in all-round development of the district, State and the country.
