Pasighat, July 18- Nehru Yuva Kendra Pasighat successfully organized the District Level Yuva Utsav at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Auditorium, Pasighat, aiming to ignite the spirit of patriotism and the values of India’s Freedom Struggle among the youth. This initiative, celebrated as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, engaged more than 200 enthusiastic participants from various youth clubs, NYKS and NYV volunteers, and renowned educational institutions.
The prestigious occasion was graced by the presence of Kaling Moyong, Hon’ble MLA of 38- Pasighat (East) Constituency, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, alongside several esteemed dignitaries. The event witnessed the gathering of prominent personalities, including Mohonto Panging, Group Captain (Retd.) IAF as the Special Guest, Okiam Moyong Borang, Chief Councillor, PMC as the Guest of Honour, B N Hazarika, Dean, CHF Pasighat as the Special Guest, and other notable guests.
The Yuva Utsav provided a platform for the youth to showcase their talents and engage in various activities that promote leadership, social responsibility, and teamwork. Contest categories included Young Artists, Writers, Photographers, practitioners of Traditional art forms, and Folk/traditional dances. Participants from renowned educational institutions such as KV Pasighat, JNV Pasighat, JNC College Pasighat, IGJ HS School, Siang Model HS School, and many more enthusiastically took part in the event.
In his inspiring speech, Kaling Moyong, the Chief Guest of the event, emphasized the importance of youth participation in the nation-building process. He urged the youth to actively contribute to realizing the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in making India a global leader. Moyong highlighted the significance of embracing the “Panch Pran” outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve the vision of India@2047 in the age of “Amrit Kaal.”
The District Level Yuva Utsav not only fostered the spirit of patriotism but also encouraged the youth to take up leadership roles, be socially responsible, and work collaboratively for the betterment of the nation. This event served as a stepping stone for participants to progress from the district level to the state and national levels, promoting their talent and dedication on a larger scale.
