Delhi Police with support from Capital Police seizes 10 stolen luxury cars

ITANAGAR, Jul 13: A team of Delhi Police in support of the Capital police on Wednesday conducted a surprise search operation and seized 10 luxury stolen vehicles.

Sharing the information, Capital Superintendent of Police Jimmy Chiram told the media: “The Delhi Police carried out a search operation, which was supported by the Capital Police in the capital complex on Wednesday afternoon and recovered 10 luxury vehicles. All the recovered vehicles were later seized.”

The Delhi Police recovered 7 Fortuner and 1 Thar, 1 Kia Seltos and 1 Hyundai Creta cars, he added.

According to sources, the vehicles were stolen from various metro cities like Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and other cities.

These vehicles were later brought to Arunachal Pradesh and were being sold at much lower prices and in some cases, the stolen vehicles’ registration number plates and even certificates have been changed and altered.The owners of the seized vehicles were present at the Naharlagun police station.
