Committee on APPSC AE(C) leakage committee demanded immediate cancellation of examination and revealing of arrested and all other accused involved in paper leakage case

ITANAGAR, Sep 18: The Arunachal Pradesh public service commission (APPSC) Paper Leakage Issue Committee (PLC) of Assistant Engineer (Civil) on Sunday demanded the home department to disclose the name of officers involved in the recent paper leakage episode and cancellation of examination. 

Talking to a media person here at Arunachal Press Club (APC), chairman of committee Techi Puru, questioned why the home department is hiding the name of arrested APPSC’s officials? The capital police should rather come out and disclose the names of all those who have been arrested and also those who are involved in the case. If the authority of APPSC like that of Chairman and Secretary are clean and did not know anything they should constitute a separate commit and they should also enquire into the allegation which has been coming on the commission time and again. Said Techi.

“When we consider Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) as a temple of recruitment but time and again officers in the chair are misusing their position, ” said Techi. Justice should be delivered to the aggrieved aspirants by suspending chairman and secretary and all those who are involved in such practice (APPSC) from the position, so that no such issue arises in the near future, he added.

Stating incompetency of chairman, secretary and board members of APPSC can be clearly observe, the committee said  even after the matter was well know to everyone but they could not decided whether the paper was leaked or not which shows their ill intention.  

In the meantime, committee also appealed the aspirant candidates of prelims and mains not to fall under the influence of APPSC’s ‘Divide and Rule policy’ which they are using as a shield to hide truth, rather to stick to the demands for cancellation of ongoing AE examination, to investigate the issue on fast tract mode in free and fair manner. He said.  

The committee meet the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU), All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU), well-wisher to support the committee during a mass peaceful protest rally to be held on 23 September from Akashdeep to Tennis Court IG Park at 11 AM to press the state government to enquire the case and take strong action against all those involved in the case. 

“We have already submitted a memorandum to the chief minister, governor , chief vigilance officer, SIC, SIT and other organizations so that a free and fair investigation is done and all the culprits are punished and the AE(Civil) examination is cancelled and fresh examination is also conducted”, Added Techi the issue chairman of the paper leakage committee.
