Capital police has arrested Five people in APPSC AE Civil paper leakage so far

ITANAGAR, SEPT 16 : The Capital Police has arrested five people in connection with Arunachal Pradesh public service commission (APPSC) Assistant Engineer (Civil) examination paper leakage case.

Capital SP inform this daily, On 29/08/2022 a written information received at police station, itanagar from A candidate, 29 years, D-Sector, Itanagar to the effect that there had been suspected leakage of question paper of AE mains examination held on 26th &, 27th of August, 2022. He had named one suspect namely  Akhilesh Yadav, faculty of JEJU Institute, Itanagar. Based on the FIR and Upon disclosure of prima facie cognizable offence during the enquiry a criminal case vide ITA/PS Case No. 229/2022 U/s 120-B/420/406/406/409 IPC registered on 10-09-2022.Said SP.

Preliminary enquiry conducted based on allegations from the alleged accused, complainant and other relevant witnesses. Two Alleged accused Akhilesh Yadav and a student of Jeju was arrested on 11/09/2022 for the purpose of investigation. Both the accused produced before JMFC, Yupia on 12-09-2022 and remanded to Police Custody for 7 days as prayed by the IO. Said SP Chiram.

Since the investigation is on and we are looking after everything and want to unearth every aspect of the investigation  and on Friday three more person has been arrested. And as of now total five person has been arrested. The Capital SP said

They were produced before the court of law and are under police custody and further investigation is on. Added SP Chiram
