ITANAGAR, MARCH 18 : The aggrieved candidate on companionate ground of Police department on Saturday has called off the ongoing indefinite dharna and democratic movement following written assurance received from Home department.
Speaking to press person at Arunachal Press club (APC) the leaders of aggrieved candidate on companionate ground has informed that they have called off the ongoing dharna after the discussion on the various issue with the Home and Border Affairs Minister Bamang Felix on Friday and a minutes has been drawn where the government has assured to take up the point by point and the copy of the minutes has been given to them. He said.
We have been on various type of democratic movement since 2019 and on March 17 six member delegation has discussion and discussed with regard to the draft guidelines for compensate appointment under Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) department shall be finalized by March, al vacant post under 5% compensate ground shall be worked out and will issue advertisement to fill the vacancies by PHQ within the month of April 2023 and following the written assurance from the government we have decided to call off the democratic movement including the ongoing dharna for last 19 days and proposed rally on March 20. The leaders added.
