ITANAGAR, Apr 18: Reaching upon Itanagar on Monday after 6 days of foot march protest rally from Seppa to Itanagar, Sol Dodum to hold another 5 days sitting protest against PHE department and DC Seppa at Tennis court IG Park.
Dodum and his supporters demanded the state government to transfer the incumbent DC Seppa and to initiate a high level enquiry into the atrocities he had received on 12th April last to him and his supporter to hold a protest again the PHED department who failed to provide potable drinking water to denizens as assured earlier.
I have carried out the best form of non violence democratic protest by a form of foot march from Seppa, the district of East Kameng, to Itanagar, the capital city of the state , to impose the charter of demand to provide pure and clean drinking water supply to the denizens of the Seppa township. He said.
Dodum, who has been marching with his cramps legs, informed the reporters that he is receiving threatening calls from an unknown person but I shall continue to fight for the genuine demand for the general public and I am doing nothing wrong in my peaceful protest.
Activists Dodum were demanding the district administration and department concerned to repair the damaged road and to provide clean drinking water supply to the denizens of the Seppa Township.
