ITANAGAR, Aug 24:  The All Arunachal Pradesh Divyangjan beneficiaries Committee has served 14 days time to the state government, especially  the Department of Social Justice Empowerment and tribal affairs(SJETA) demanding immediate disbursements of pending pension amounts or else threatened to launch democratic movement.

Addressing news persons here at Arunachal Press club on Thursday afternoon, All Arunachal Pradesh Divyangjan beneficiaries Committee chairmen Nido Tezi informed that central and state government is giving them Indira Gandhi National disability pension scheme, along with Indira Gandhi national Old age pension scheme, Indira Gandhi National family benefits scheme and Indira Gandhi national widow pension scheme annually in the month of Rs. 1700/, 1500/ and Rs.1300/ through the department of Social Justice Empowerment and tribal affairs(SJETA).

But from last five years we had been observed that Department is not disbursing our pension amount properly, regularly and systematically and it has been revealed form the RTI documents that due to non submission of proper and required utilization Certificate(UC) and furnishing list of beneficiary in the year of 2019 to 2022 by Concern department , the center government did not sanction and released any fund for all four national schemes like Indira Gandhi National disability pension scheme, Indira Gandhi national Old age pension scheme, Indira Gandhi National family benefits scheme and Indira Gandhi national widow pension scheme for state. Through the state government is sending fund for all four schemes accept in year of 2020 -21 and on few occasion it has been disbursed but the amount is deducted is a matter of great concern. He claimed.

On many occasion the full amount was not disbursed ot the beneficiaries and was deduced and we assume that that all this amount deducted may have been lying with the department, therefore we requested the state government and concern department to immediately disburse the amount to all the beneficiaries within 14 days, fails we will be compel launch democratic movement against department. He added.
