ArSRLM Organizes Employers Networking Event in Capital Complex

ITANAGAR, August 24: The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) hosted an “Employers Networking Event” at the SMMU conference Hall. Private employers from various sectors within the capital complex, including Hospitality, Medical, Retail, and Apparel, participated in the event.

The purpose of the Networking Event was to address the placement needs of locally trained youths under the DDU-GKY program in the state. Recognizing the challenges associated with placing candidates outside the state and their reluctance, ArSRLM CEO-cum-State Mission Director (SMD) Duyu Ribya led this initiative.

During the event, the CEO stressed the significance of imparting employability skills to rural youth and creating employment opportunities through placement. He encouraged in-state employers to prioritize trained candidates from the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) for job placements within their organizations.

The coordination of the event was overseen by Nabam Ompi, Programme Manager (MCPIA), along with ArSRLM officials. The event saw participation from various establishments, including Hotel Obsidian Blue, WAII International Hotel, Hotel SC Grand, Hotel Moomsie, Tsangpo Hotel, Papa Family Restaurant, Karuna Trust, Pantaloons, The Myst, Marshang, 18’o Clock, The LHOBH, Decembers Café, Hotel PYBSS, and J & Jaika.
