8th Ayurveda day-2023 celebrated with theme ‘Ayurveda for one health’

ITANAGAR, NOV 10 :  The 8th Ayurved dec-2023 celebrated here at Regional Ayurveda research institute (RARI) in city on Friday in befitting manner.

The theme of the celebration was “ Ayurveda for one health” and ‘ the importance of ayurveda’ was focused point of celebration and various literary competition which include poster making, essay writing, quiz and rangoli competition, was organized on the occasion to attract the students and upcoming youths of state and country.  

The regional Ayurveda research institute is functioning a hospital at 0 Point Tinali in city for decades and carrying out research activities in the field of AYUSH specially the Ayurveda system f medicine in state and country. The institution is an institution under the central council for research in Ayurveda science under the ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. 

In order to increase the leadership quality among the students, give awareness on health and ayurveda system of medicine  several competitions

The programme was organised jointly by directorate of health service, Naharlagun and Regional Ayurveda research institute, Itanagar which was attend by several medical fraternity  and students form various schools of capital complex .

Awareness programme on various issue which include Millets, nutritional value and medicinal importance of millets, 

RARI Assistant Director (Ayu) Dr. Gurucharan Bhuyan, RARI officer Dr. K. K. Brahma, Dy Director of health (ISM) Dr. Inya Lingu, RARI Research officer Dr. Arbind Kumar among others were present on the occasion.

 Certificates of winners of various competition which include International year of Millet-2023 and 8th Ayurveda day-2023 were given away by the dignitaries

Students from KV II, Chimpu, KV-I Naharlagun, RK Mission Public school, Gopur Tinali,  and other schools form capital complex take part in the literary competitions.
