Kaso kick off panchayat football tourney, appeal youths to play games and sports to bring name, fame and opportunity of employment

CHIMPU, NOV 10 : The local MLA Techi Kaso on Friday has kick off the panchayat football tournament here at the play ground of Government secondary school, Chimpu amid huge gathering. All total 11 teams from 11 gram panchayat segments are taking part.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the local MLA attending the function as chief guest said that to live a long life one have to maintain a good health and physical fitness. To maintain a good health one have to play games and sports so as to maintain a good health with a fit body and sound mind. He said.

If one excel in any games and sport one can grab the opportunity of employment provision of state government. one can if play well in any sports discipline one can compete at any level of competition of state level, national level, asian championship, world championship and Olympic games. Ski is the limit and now due to passage of time lifestyle is also changing and one can maintain his/her career in games and sports and bring name and fame in society. Said Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso.

The 13th Itanagar panchayat football tournament was started much earlier to give opportunity to rural youths who could not reached out to city to play and practice games and sports. I want to see that children and youths from various gram panchayt segment of Itanagar capital complex in most discipline may and play in team spirit to uphold the sportsmanship. Added MLA Kaso.

IMC Ward NO 1 Corporater Lokam Anand attended the function as guest of honour who address the gathering and motivated the players and youths. He requested the youths and students to become a good human being serve the society in best possible way for all round development of capital complex, state and country.

Organising chairman Tana Radh, Organsing Secretary Gyamar Changia also address the inaugural ceremony.

Batt-Ganga ZPM Taro Tagia, Borum ZPM TOk Tama, Jully GPC Tana Taha Tara, Ganga GPC Tana Teni, Chimpu GPC Nabam Yajo, Lorr Batt GPC Giogi Sanu among other local leaders and former PRI leaders were present on the occasion.

The tournament will be playe form November 10th and will continue till November 18. All total 16 matches will be played. The inaugural math was plaey between Chipu Vrs Jullang and got draw.
