ITANAGAR, JULY 10 : The members of Ward No-1 Youth welfare association today carried out cleanliness drive and social service in and around the NH-415 in Chimpu area.
Tatung Pilips (Tata), General secretary of Ward No-1 Youth welfare association said that our team has decided to carry out the social service to motivate others and also at the same time it give us encouragement that we should live in clean and green environment. At the same time we have also started the plantation activities. The dividers of NH-415 from Gopur Tinali to Chimpu has been cleaned and the bushes has been removed. He said.
We carried social service in last week also and we did such work specially on holiday so that maximum dedicated youths of our area can takes part in social works and plantation drive. Tata added.
Late in afternoon, capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom also teaks part in the social service with the youths of Chimpu on the Highway and lauded the youths for their initiative.
