Yachuli ADC Toko Babu assured the delegation of students union to take the encroachment issue of Deed Sec School on priority

DEED, May 2 : The Yachuli Additional deputy commissioner on Tuesday has assure the delegation of students union to take up the encroachment and boundary dispute issue of Government secondary school Deed with all stake holders on priority basis.

Interacting with the delegation of several students union which include AAPSU, ALSDSU, AYSU and locals on the long pending issue of land encroachment of Government secondary school, Deed in Yahculi assembly constituency of Lower Subansiri district, ADC Toko Babu said that it is an opportunity that we all have made it possible to inspect almost all the existing land of the school and encroached land by the locals. Here localized issue and it would be shorted out and process will began soon. Said ADC.

The Deed secondary school which was established in 1964 is an old school and steps is needed to stop encroachments. Today I personally visited the whole area and fine that immediate action is needed. I have directed not to carry activities till the issue is finalized. He said.

Land possession will be issued after proper official action is initiated. He said.
There was tentative survey made earlier and if we go through it there are large numbers of encroachers and will also pursue them to give back the said land however there are no proper land documents and proper demarcation and boundary made earlier which is existing to verify. We will be see that whatever is best will be followed in the greater interest for protection of land of the said school. Said ADC Babu.

Since my posting as Yachuli ADC I have find that several cases of land encroachment of land including the land of several school and TAH and I have given my full time and tried best to either resolved and short it out in best possible way. This case would also be sorted out and official process will start soon. For resolving this case also the locasl of the area have remain united. Said ADC.

Recently the Yachuli employees forum has adopted this school and it has been known to the local MLA who is our education minister and as per information the state government may have approved the Deed secondary school to Golden jublee model school so importance has increased and I have requested the local to work out so that the Deed secondary school is converted into the Godledn jublee model school and education scenario of the area is improved accordingly. I have also spoken to students union leaders lead by AAPSU, few local leaders, land donors family members, PRI leaders, GBs and School managing committee member and school headmaster incharge and come to know detail of the issue and assured to start up the official formalities so that the issue is resolved and shorted out before the converting to Golden jublee model school. The ADC further said.

AAPSU Convenor Neelam Son speaking to media said that the students union and others has submitted representation to local administration and sought administrative intervention to save the land of Government Secondary school, Deed twice but today we find that the Yachuli ADC with his team has visited the school and its campus as well as the encroached land. His assurance is appreciated and hope that he would act immediately without and delay so that the land encroachment issue of one of the oldest school remain intact. He said.

Time and again our main focus is to work for the promotion of education scenario of state and at the same time we would like to appeal the state government and education department to immediately process for issuing land allotment or Land possession certificate so that the land of the education institution is secures and encroachment activities are avoided. Among other the AAPSU auditor Gida Tar, ALSDSU general secretary Duyu Khoda, AYSU education secretary Ajum Toko, AAPSU Women wing president Ponung Darang, Deed Secondary school headmaster incharge Neelam Obi, GBs and local leaders and local public of the area were present on the occasion.
