We need to celebrate the true spirit of the Azadi ka amrit mahotsava: Biyuram Wahge

BOMDILA, APRIL 20 : We have to celebrate the true spirit of Azadi ka amrit mahotsava with dedication and a responsibility for the proper development and welfare of people of state and country. Said state BJP President Biyuram Wahge.

Wahge was addressing the concluding ceremony of 75 years of Azadi ka amrit mahotsava being celebrated across the state and country here at the conference hall of Buddha park, Bomdila in West Kameng district. We have to introspect ourselves on how far we have achieved the true spirit of democratic setup of the country. We have to take a lead to the clarion call of the central and state leaders who are committed for the all-round development of state and country. He said.

Our nation is our pride and it should be our endeavors that every karyakartas of the party should come forward and join hands in nation building and man making. Every party leader has to play a greater role as responsible citizens to carry forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu as a mission for all round development of the state and country. Wahge said.

We have been celebrating the sthapna diwas from April 6 and during the last 14 days we have organized several programmes in different parts of state with blood donation camp, poshan samaroh, awareness of vaccination awareness on several centrally and state sponsored schemes for welfare of the general public of state and country. He said.

Wahge further appealed to the party leaders to coordinate with the officers of various departments and see that various welfare schemes launched by the Prime Minister and Chief Minister reached to the grassroots level. 

Dirang MLA Phurpa Tsering, Kalaktang MLA DW Karma, Bomdila MLA Dongru Siongju, BJP Vice President and Chairman of Samajik Nyay pakwada Tarh Tarak, West Kameng BJP district President Yeshi Yamchodu, Resource person Dr. Tashi Phuntso, West Kameng district Incharge Amit Lanio also addressed the ceremony.

The family members of Sepoy Late Nawang Tenzing of 15 Assam Regiment (Senba Medal) of Pedung village and Sepoy Late Changa Tsering of 4th Assam Regiment of Pedung village were felicitated on the occasion.

Earlier. The BJP leaders led by state President Biyuram Wahge visited the Nyikmadung (1962 Indo-China war memorial) in Dirang circle and paid tribute to the martyrs and also interacted with the army personnel.
