More than 54 shops  and houses gutted in devastating fire mishap, 40 families have been sent to relief camp: DC Yingkiong

ITANAGAR, APRIL 21 : More than 54 commercial shops and attached residential houses were completely gutted in a devastating fire mishap in the Market area of Yingkiong, the district headquarter of Upper Siang district. Property worth crores gutted with three injured in the incident. Forty families have been sent to relief camps till late evening. Said DC Yingkiong.

Upper Siang Deputy Commissioner Shashvat Saurabh informs that as per information 54 shops have been completely gutted in the devastating fire mishap which took place in afternoon at around 2.45 PM in Market line of the district headquarter Yingkiong.

It takes a few hours to overcome the fire accident, no casualties have been reported, three people have been reported injured in the fire Incident who have been treated  by the health department. He said.

All the household belongings were gutted in the devastating fire mishap. We are providing immediate help and providing temporary accommodation in relief camps. DC said.

I am monitoring the relief camp and ensure that all the family members are taken to camp and support is given to them. He said.

The forces of Arunachal Scouts and BRTF and the locals have actively supported the fire fighters and administration during the incident and thanks everyone one those who extended physical help during the fire accident at Yingkiong. DC added.

As of now actual data is not available but it is observed that 54 commercial shops and attached houses have been gutted in the incident and completely gutted in the incident. He further said,
