Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Launched in Tirap District

Thinsa, December 2: The inaugural ceremony of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) unfolded at the Govt. Secondary School Ground in Thinsa village, Tirap district, today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recorded message set the tone for the event, followed by the symbolic flagging off of the VBSY Van by Khonsa West MLA, Chakat Aboh.

DC Tirap, Hento Karga, outlined the objectives of the campaign, emphasizing its focus on enlightening citizens about government schemes, particularly in remote rural areas. Attendees were encouraged to interact with departments present at the launch venue to gain insights into available schemes and derive benefits.

Khonsa West MLA, Chakat Aboh, extended best wishes for the VBS Yatra’s success across 69 Gram Panchayat Clusters (GPCs) in Tirap District. Aboh commended the collaborative efforts of the District Administration, led by DC Hento Karga, and urged all GPCs to actively engage with line departments during VBSY activities to enhance public awareness about government initiatives.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of Thinsa village, Gaon Bura Nyesom Aboh thanked the government and concerned departments for selecting Thinsa as the starting point for the VBSY, acknowledging their dedicated services and efforts in raising awareness about various schemes.

The launch witnessed active participation from various departments in Tirap District. MLA-56-Khonsa West A/C, Chakat Aboh, officially inaugurated the program in the presence of DC Tirap Hento Karga, ZPM Khonsa Wanghong Panka, Heads of Departments, PRIs, Chief, Gaon Bura, GPC, and GPMs. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is poised to foster connectivity and awareness about government policies in the remote regions of Tirap District.
