ITANAGAR, Two person died in a construction site of a building in Bassar of Leparada district and one person died in a road accident in Bana area of East Kameng district on Monday. Informed police sources.
The Leparada district police sources inform that an incident took place at Gori complex area at a construction site where labourers were digging Pit for erecting pillars. A sudden landslide trapped and killed two labourers. The bodies have been recovered with help of Dist Admn, Police and Fire and emergency. The police sources said.
A UD case has been registered at Basar Police station and investigation has been taken up. After conducting post mortem (PM) the bodies have been handed over to the relatives for last rites. Both the deceased has been identified as Ashadul Ali about 19 yrs s/o Habijul islam vill Nadika P.O Islamgaon PS laluk Distt North Lakhimpur Assam and Nur jamal age about 19 yrs s/o sh Hurmuj Ali same village. The police sources added.
An another incident which took place near 1 Kilo of Bana in East Kameng district on Monday afternoon in which one person has been reportedly died on spot in a road accident
The East Kameng district police sources inform that one person has succumbed to his injury in a road accident which took place at 1 kilo, Bana in East Kameng at around 2.30-3 PM as per locals. A case has been registered at Seppa police station and the Seppa police have launched an investigation. The police sources said.
The legal formalities are being done, the police sources said.
As per information, the Scotty rider who was riding the Scotty from West Kameng side towards Seppa met with an accident at 1 kilo in which a youngsters has also been grievously injured in the accident and stated to be stable till filing of report. The two wheeler rider met with the accident and hit a roadside stone and reportedly died on spot. The police sources added.
The Scotty has been seized and the post mortem will be done on Tuesday. The police sources added.
