ITANAGAR, One person has reportedly died on spot in a construction site of Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) road in between Potin-Pitapool when the fokland vehicle which he was driving fell from the hillock. Informed sources.
Yazali Police station Officer Incharge, Licha Taj informed that a sad news has been received from a road construction site in my jurisdiction in between Potin and Yazali at 12 KM point wherein one driver of the fokland meet with an accident. The information was received at around 11.00 hours that an accident has taken place at chainage no 4/750 that one excavator operator slipped down from the hillside while working along with the excavator machine and succumbed to the his injury. He said.
The Operator has been identified as Sirmonta Das, s/o Dimbeshwar Das of village- Mikirhat, po/ps-Samaguri, district-Nogaon, Assam. The body has been retrieved from the sport and legal formalities have been done. The PM and other formalities have been done and the body has been handed over for conducting the last rite. OC said.
The preliminary report said that, Late Das was working with the fokland (excavator) machine on the hillside and slipped down and fall on another machine, the operator succumbed to the injury while the said excavator completely damaged and the another excavator which was clearing the debris on the road also got damaged but the operator of the said machine was narrowly escaped. OC added.
It is to mention that the m/s Nabam Tullon LLP is the executing firm of the said stretch from Potin-to Pai gate under Yachuli sub-division of Lower Subansiri district.
