ITANAGAR, JAN 29 : The smooth traffic was disrupted for hours together due to damage caused due to heavy loaded truck on steel bridge on Pare river near Hoj.
Local sources informed that the bridge got damaged due to truck which was passing though it and a iron plate was damaged and the turk meet with accident. However with support of machinery available at the site who are engaged for construction of RCC bridge near the same venue help and removed the lorry form the scene.
Due to the accident the traffic movement on Trans Arunachal Highway moving toward East Kameng, Pakkekessang, Lower Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, Kamle and Upper Subansiri was affected for hours together. No any loss of life and property was reported in the incident. Repairing and maintenance was initiated. The sources said.
Meanwhile the Papum Pare district administration and Lower Subansiri district administration has already issued advisory to maintain alert while travelling in hilly road and also maintain alertness where the road construction works are being carried out.
