ITANAGAR, JAN 29 : The students exposure trips of students of various schools in Kurung Kumey districts to enright themselves of various arms and ammunition and public policing and know about as how to keep peace and tranquility.
Kurung Kumey SP Bomken Basar inform that the students from Govt. Hr. Secondary School and VKV, Koloriang visited Koloriang PS and interacted with the officers and staffs. On the same day, students from Eklavya Residential Model School, Higher Sec. School and Kasturba Gandhi Valika Vidhyalaya visited Nyapin PS and class XI students from GHSS, Sangram visited Sangram PS. He said..
The objective of the visit is to let the students see the physical structure of the Police Station, to understand how the police Station functions and to interact with the officers and staffs so that understand the nature of the duties performed by the officers and staffs so that they build faith in the police system. The Students were shown lockup, Malkhana, CCTNS room, control room etc. Students were also told how to lodge complaint in PS. Awareness on road traffic was also given. Such visits will be conducted from time to time. He said.
