Three days advance Kumite and Kata Training for karatakas conclude in city

CHIMPU, OCT 15 : The three days special and advance training on Kumite and Kata Training for karatakas of state conclude here at Marik Academy. International karate coach from New Delhi Anikhet Gupta give away the special and advance training to the players.

Speaking on the occasion,  Arunachal Olympic Association Treasurer and senior karatakas of state Bulang Marik inform that it is a happy occasion that the international repute coach is here in city and under his guidance and supervision the advance training is being given. Such training are much beneficial for the players and upcoming players who are willing to take part in several regional, national and international events. He said.

We are happy that our karataks of state are now getting special trained and gaining experience which would help them while taking part in Asian championship and other international event and such training have special technique to fight with the opponent team. He said.

The training was basically advance Kumite and Kata training at Marik Academy and CSP Karate Club IG park, Itanagar

The international coach Anikhet Gupta is a  renowned International Karate Player and as an Observer from Karate India Organization. The selected players of APAKA were given a coaching for the KIO inter-zone National Championship and Sub Junior KIO All India National Karate Championship from 16th to 19th Nov. 2023. Said Marik.

Gupta inform the newsperson that such types of coaching and training are necessary and mandatory for players. The special coaching training hs been given to the selected players for the forthcoming 21st AKF Karate Championship, which is scheduled to be held at Kazakhstan from November 2023. Though I did not get much time to give them everything but whatever I was able to teach them and guide them may help them in their professional career. The International coach Gupta said.

I wish that the players for NE region specially form Arunachal Pradesh shine in every international event as huge potential is seen among the youths of state and region. He assured to provide support and help during any national and international level games and championship at New Delhi. He added.

The three days advanced Kumite and Kata Training was organized by Arunachal Shito Ryu Karate — do Association (ASKA) and Shito Ryu Seikokai Karate Arunachal (SRSKKA) under the aegis of Arunachal Pradesh Amateur Karate-do Association (APAKA) 

The players Selected for the 21st Asian Karate Championship 2023 

Khyoda Talik – Kata junior male, Pala Dodum -67 kg Junior Male Kumite,   Basanta Bagang – 75kg senior Male Kumite,  Doyang Dadda -67 kg Senior Male Kumite.

Certificate of participation to the paleysr were given away on the occasion by the dignitaries. 

APAKA President Yarda Niki, General Secretary John Bagang among other senior karatakas of state and APAKA executive members were present on the occasion.
