Ziro, September 5: On the rhythmic theme of service change and service continues globally, Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year on 5 th September in Lower Sunansiri District.
This year, the same was given a brilliant touch with organizing a volleyball and a tug of war games in conniving with DK Government Higher Secondary School Ziro held at the playground of the school.
The players comprising of both DDSE staff and teaching staff/non teaching staff of D K Government Higher Secondary Ziro actively participated in the sports and games sponsored by the DDSE Lower Subansiri Tabia Chobin.
Whereas the volleyball was won by DDSE staff, tug of war went to the staff of D K Government Higher Secondary School Ziro.
Vice Principal,Tage Gambo distributed cash prizes to the winners.Both the playing teams participated enthusiastically applying all their fortitude and strength.
The celebration had been provided a beautiful final touch by organizing the events.
