Tapir Gao, Alo LIbang appealed to the citizens above 45 years to get them vaccinated at any respective PHC/CHC

ITANAGAR, APRIL 14 ; Arunachal East Member of Parliament Tapir Gao and Arunachal Pradesh Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo LIbang has appeal the citizens above 45 years to get them vaccinated themselves for Covid in respective PHCs and CHCs and all the Zonal and district hospitals of state on all seven days of week. They also appeal the citizens to remain alert and maintain Covid protocol to remain safe and secure.

MP Gao informed the media that today is Tika abhiyan and I have my 2nd dose of vaccination. I see a huge crowd only due to awareness on the need for having vaccination which will increase the immune in the human body to fight Coronavirus. He said.

One can get an infection of Covid even after one is vaccinated but the person who is vaccinated can survive without much problems. He said. “ I did not find any side effects in my body and feeling fine and hope everyone as per required age limit can come to respective health centers and get them vaccinated. Gao claimed. 

The party, government and administration is trying its best effort and creating awareness among the masses and now it is the turn of the general public to remain fit and fine but obey the guidelines and advisory and maintain Covid protocol. Gao added.

Meanwhile, Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo LIbang informs that the vaccination drive is getting momentum as people voluntarily come to respective PHCs/CHCs, zonal and district hospitals to get them vaccinated. The trend is good in urban areas but it is a bit slow and low turnout in rural areas. It is the need of the hour to get everyone as per order of the government specially the person above 45 years to get them vaccinated. Libang said.

The vaccination which started from January 16 was low turnout due to assumption, presumption and confusion but in due course of time it is seen that the awareness drive carried out by all stakeholders the vaccination drive is much faster. Libang said.

The turnout in capital complex is quite good and vaccination drive is smoothly going on in 6 centers at RK Mission Hospital, TRIHMS, health centers at Chimpu, Karsingsa and Itafot (Bank Tinali) and urge upon all the citizens of above 45 years to get them vaccinated in all these health centers of capital complex and all the zonal and district hospital of respective district of state. Libang said.

“it has been observed that those who tested positive are those who are coming from outside the state and it is necessary to speed up the testing process and as well as to increase the vaccination that we are taking care of” LIbang said.

“As per registration of frontline workers, aged above 60 years and now above 45 years and hope that almost everyone are vaccinated and requested all educated and likeminded citizens to create awareness on the need of vaccination drive as a preventive and safety” He said.

“ we have already sounded alert to the citizens and we are tracking those who are coming from outside state, we are carrying our testing at respective centers and health department is also on high alert but nothing to worry, only one thing is the important is that everyone used facemask, maintain social and physical destining, hand washing and sanitizing. don’t go to crowded areas and remain safe and secure” LIbang added.

In the Tikka utsav from April 11 to 14 2021  2,796 people have been vaccinated and 14,430 people have been vaccinated from January 16 to till date. However as per information till April 1.56,193 people have been vaccinated across the state so far and is continuing. He said.
