ITANAGAR, MAY 1 : The Tali MLA Jikke Tako who has been on tour to several far flung interior villages in Pipsorang circle of 20 Tali Assembly constituency Kra Daadi district from April 27 to May 1st and attended several public meetings and inaugurated two bridges.
Tako speaking to this daily over hone on his way back to state capital said that “ it was an important trip and visit to several villages and attended several including public meeting and inauguration of two bridges in Pipsorang circle of my own assembly constituency” Through the weather condition was terrible but it was an interesting journey to meet my own people who are living in far flung area of Tali assembly constituency. Tako said.
On 27 April I left the capital of Parsiparlo in Kurung Kumey district for Bikya and a newly constructed class room at Govt. Middle school was constructed under SIDF and halted there. He said.
A wire rope suspension bridge (WRSB) constructed by RD deptt over Payo river measuring 55 meters under border area development fund (BADP) amounting to Rs. 25 Lakhs was inaugurated.
A public meeting was held at Rimum village where the people have been demanding for the creation of a circle headquarters. The demand for the circle is a long pending demand of the people of the area, I will take part in the meeting and discuss various issues including the land for the purpose and others. Tako said.
Visited Kokcho and Sangyo village and inspected a WTP project under JJM scheme with the officers of PHED deptt and PRI leaders.
A WRSB Bridge on Huma river amounting to Rs, 1 crore under state infrastructure development fund (SIDF) constructed by PWD was also inaugurated. He said.
Went to Tamak langpo panchayat segment and had a public meeting and interacted with locals followed by inspection of NLCPR road from Yalua-Pipsorang amounting to Rs, 15 crore and found that the Formation cutting (FC) works is in progress. He said.
Several senior officers and administrative heads of both Tali and PIpsorang circle accompanied the team. The officers which include Tali ADC Kipa Raja, PIpsorang Circle officer Tajuh Tama, ZPM Sorang Tania, officers of PWD, RWD, PHED and other were present accompanied the team and were present during the inspection and visit to several roads and WTP and inauguration of two WRSB.
