Scientists from DST and APSCS&T carried out four days exposure and research works in Bomchi Bomte village

 ITANAGAR, JAN 23 ; The scientist of department of Science & Technology and APSCS&T has organised 4 days research tour programme to Bumchi Bumte village in Kimin circle which is the remotest place of Papum Pare district. 

A Team lead by Joint Director  Bamang Apo inform that the team has collected soil samples from various sites for further testing to get ideas about the viability in agri-allied sectors, different species of orchids has been collected and drone survey was done to get proper ideas for future planning. He said.

The main objective of the expedition was to study the feasibility of different projects that can be implemented in the area in future for the development of the village in different sectors through Science & Technology interventions. He said.

Since the village Bomchi Bomte is remote village without Basie facility and no rod and power connection and having hardly few facility so it was also to see that the how the science and technology intervention could help them without destroying of virginity of natural resources. He said.

During the survey, it was found that the area is still unexplored and preserved in its natural ecosystem. 

The report of the survey done in 4 days was also brief to the APCS&T Chairman Bamang Mangha and Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Sachin Rana, Kimin ADC B. Nyorak. He said.

 The Jt Director Apo further requested district administration and HoDs to support and guide in future project implementation in the area in days to come. He also thanks the local villagers of Bumchi Bumte Village Development Committee for their hospitality and support during four day in area and village side.
